Back to gods.
God of death and serenity, Lorus is sometimes referred to as the Liberator of Souls and the Ancient Winter. Lorus is a pessimistic god whose job will never be complete. The undead, or never-taken, are a burden to the god of death, for his books cannot be kept straight while these creatures’ souls still reside on Dwagara. Necromancers sometimes claim to be the followers of Lorus, but truthfully are his enemies as they provide disorganization and more work for the already overwrought god of death. Lorus has, in the past, walked Dwagara tearing the souls of the undead from the surface of Dwagara and pulling them into the Astral Sea where they belong, giving him his title, the Liberator of Souls. His true followers and clerics are undead slayers, ridding the mortal world of the menace. His favored weapon is the scythe and his holy symbol is the silver cross.
